The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) has reached their 10th anniversary in Southwest Washington and needed a mini-brand that encompasses their presence for the celebration. The anniversary takes form of an event that includes mariachi bands, a tamale eating contest, a car show, and dancing.
The goal was develop a specific identity for LULAC's 10th year within Southwest Washington State
The lockup reflects a piece of latin America's history: the almighty hummingbird. Inspired by the Sun God Huitzilopochtli, the hummingbird is a symbol of strength that leads the way, while the sun warms our wings that enables us to fly.
Social media posts were designed to promote each aspect of the event. One for Dancing, the tamale eating contest, Mariachi bands, and the car show.
Branding was used within LULAC's website in order to promote the event.
